Booking and Payment
When booking the cottage (Kilt Room Cottage) we will forward an invoice through PayPal for 30% deposit or if you prefer to pay in full. A receipt will be sent to you when the payment is received to confirm your reservation.
The balance if any will be due 4 weeks before the holiday is due to start. If the balance is not paid 4 weeks before we shall assume that the holidaymaker has cancelled their booking unless we have been otherwise advised. The deposit is non-refundable.
Upon receipt of the holiday confirmation please read and contact us if there are any discrepancies in the details as soon as possible.
Responsibilities of the Holidaymaker
During the period of the holiday you will be responsible to make sure that the number of people residing in the property does not exceed the number stated on the reservation paper work.
To show due consideration for other parties (to include no offensive or rude behaviour to property owner or our representatives).
To allow property owner or representatives access if necessary.
To keep the property and all furniture, bedding, towels, utensils, equipment, in good order and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and ensure that the property is of the same cleanliness in which it was found. The property owner reserves the right to cancel the Holidaymakers occupancy if there is a breach in their behaviour.
Any loss or damage cause by the holidaymaker must be reported to the property owner and arrangement will be made for reimbursement.
Please note we are on a septic tank system therefore we do not allow the use of bleach down drains or toilet, no sanitry wear or babies nappies to be flushed down toilet we thank you in advance as this is important.
On the day of arrival the property will not be available until 3pm, and on the day of departure holidaymaker will vacate the property by 10am.
We allow a maximum of two pets and the holidaymaker is responsible for any damage cause by their pets. Pets should not be left alone in the property, they are not allowed on beds or furniture. All pets to be kept on leads around farm animals and please follow the country code. Please remember when exercising your dog to clean up after it, bag it and put it in dog bins or green council bins that are available.
